2014.12.17 FMF Media Release: FMF launches PAIA request to expose government funding of anti-nicotine research
The Free Market Foundation has launched a request under the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) to expose government funding of anti-nicotine research and advocacy, and also, to determine whether the Minister and the department of health fund non-academic activities, such as the Council Against Smoking. Further requests will follow which will relate to the Minister’s more recent targets including alcohol and sugar.
